On this video the specific skill set of “the pianist dj” can be heared, seen and felt. 

With tailor-made mashup beats the space to play funky keyboard solo’s and pave the way for live artists is being created. 

The idea for this was born in 1996/1997 when Jazzy Derk started working together with DJ Mr Melle and Hans Dulfer. They surely were one of the first innitiators in the Netherlands to start combining jazz musicians alongside DJs.
